When her brother unexpectedly shows up with the Kestian surgeon who saved him, the cause of these events comes to light. Goddess Fate is missing and the Flame she used to forge the world is unbound, burning through the fabric of the universe.
In light of these news, Aleva resolves to protect Kira at all costs, while Serea fights for the survival of her entire realm. To mend the world, the two women who seemingly have nothing in common must form an alliance and harness Fate’s Flame. But the Flame demands their souls. And Fate demands an even steeper price.
