A little about me and the work.

Hi, I am Elvan. Happy to have you here.

I am the author of When Fate Suffers (Release 2027) and I have been writing ever since I could hold a pen (though most of the early work is more akin to runes than letters).

During the day I am a writer, and in the evenings I moonlight as a data engineer. In my free time, I love getting incredibly flustered about not being able to climb sheer rock faces as well as I’d like to.

I have an embarrassing collection of snow globes (only the snowy ones, not the glitter ones), I was born in Turkey but now live in Bulgaria and I have a PhD in Information Systems that I am doing my best not to touch. I like it when books make me cry, I like it even more if they make me think and cry. I firmly believe doing (or at least attempting) hard things makes life better, and I am known to prefer the scenic route.

I use a pen name to write my books because frankly my surnames are way too hard to pronounce even for me.
